VILLAGE ADOPTION
Total impact on the society is the goal of Campus Crusade.Thus several social and human development projects are also undertaken.
- In 1992, a village by name Mittigenahalli, near Bangalore in Karnataka was adopted. During the past years, several social projects were executed to improve their life style. Our emphasis was to educate them and teach them moral values. The development programmes conducted through this project had made a dramatic change in their lifestyle. Borewells also were dug for clean water supply. A medical clinic and a creche were also started in the village. School uniforms and other study materials are also distributed to the village children every year.
- In 1993, ICCC was involved in the relief and rehabilitation work for the Latur, Maharashtra earth quake victims, with financial gifts.
